We just had some NASTY weather roll through here a...
I mean nasty like 2.5” of rain in about 30 minutes, a tornado and possibly two, weather sirens going off everywhere, etc. The cats were freaking out. Almost as much as the weather people on TV.

I was driving back from my best friend’s house tonight. When I got close to the airport it started raining or something. When I finally got off the interstate and to a stop light, I was able to see that it was actually snowing. So I checked the dashboard clock—11:50 on Christmas night. It was REALLY wimpy and almost the next day, but it was my first white Christmas. :-)

The bank I interviewed at last week (Hancock Bank) just agreed to buy the bank I interviewed at a few months ago (Whitney Bank). It doesn’t really mean much as far as the jobs I interviewed for…I hope…. I just thought it was kind of interesting.

My mother and uncle are talking about my cousin’s recent surgery to remove a tumor, like how they had to pull the skin off her face to get to the tumor, etc. This is going on while we’re sitting at the restaurant waiting for our food to come out.
